Key benefits

Safety:

The dispenser design complies with the IEC-61511 functional safety standard and incorporates multiple safety features such as:

  • A shear valve disconnecting the hydrogen supply during emergencies
  • A breakaway coupling protecting the vehicle and dispenser if a vehicle drives away with the nozzle still connected
  • A breakaway coupling sensor immediately alerting the operator when activated
  • A tilt sensor detecting unusual mechanical influences, such as a vehicle colliding with the dispenser
  • Gas detection monitoring for leaks within the dispenser, including breakaway coupling
  • Safety software and hardware mitigating hazards such as overtemperature, overpressure, leaks, and excessive mass flow

Reliability:

  • The Global Monitoring System (GMS),  with operational data since 2015, providing valuable insights into component statistics and enables predictive maintenance
  • GMS providing time-series data with resolutions up to 100 datapoints per second, enabling highly detailed analysis

User Experience:

  • A display and speaker offering a user-friendly introduction video for payment and fueling processes.
  • The IFSF interface ensuring seamless integration with external payment systems.
  • A Pit Box to simplifying civil works and installation, eliminating the need for a separate heat exchanger near or beneath the dispenser
  • Fully compliant with the SAE J2601 standard.
