Cavendish Hydrogen A/S is excited to announce the signing of a purchase agreement for a high-capacity station test site located in Herning, Denmark. This acquisition marks an important step towards our ambition to decarbonize heavy-duty transportation.

Strategic Location

The acquired site, encompassing approximately 5,600 square meters, is located within
HI Park – Etape IV in Herning. This location has a strategic significance due to its proximity to key highways ensuring high visibility and accessibility while reinforcing our brand presence.

The proximity of the site to our headquarters is a core strategic advantage, allowing for efficient collaboration during the installation, commissioning and testing phases of the prototype, thereby ensuring smooth progression.

Dual-Area Functionality

One of the strategic benefits of the new site is its flexibility to be divided into two distinct areas: one dedicated to public vehicle fueling and the other reserved for test engineers. This configuration enhances both safety and operational efficiency.

Collaboration and commitment

Our partnership with the Herning Municipality has been instrumental in securing the site. We value their shared commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.

As we move forward, our next steps include developing a detailed site layout and ensuring that the project is executed according to the planned timelines.

"We are excited to take the significant step in our journey towards greener and more sustainable future. The acquisition of this site not only positions us strategically within the heart of Herning’s industrial zone but also reinforces our commitment to driving innovation and efficiency in hydrogen technology. We look forward to the exciting developments that this new location will bring."
