Dina Raabjerg is the energy spokesperson for the Conservatives in the Danish Parliament and was elected in the Ikast-Brande constituency. She expressed a high interest in visiting local hydrogen projects and was accompanied by Tejs Lausten Jensen, who also represents Hydrogen Europe as a board member.
During the meeting, our CEO Robert Borin introduced Cavendish Hydrogen, focusing on the significant untapped potential we see in using hydrogen as a clean fuel for emission-free mobility. Additionally, there was an opportunity to discuss when and how the recent European legislation AFIR* is expected to be implemented in Denmark.
*AFIR is the Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation, which obliges European member states to deploy one hydrogen fueling station per 200 kilometres on the core road network by 2030.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Cavendish production facilities. Overall, it was an interesting visit, and we hope it supported the political awareness about the vast potential within the industry we represent.
